This trio of vinyl packaging was designed for Father John Misty’s first three studio albums. Drawing inspiration from the storytelling nature of his songwriting and its simultaneously disjointed nature, due to his use of hallucinogens, I thought collage would be a great match for his work. Selecting imagery directly from his lyrics and also imagery that is more symbolic of his work, I made three separate collages and applied visual elements from them throughout the rest of the packaging.
